CCW RENEWAL CLASS - 4-HOURS

SACRAMENTO, EL DORADO, YOLO, and SAN JOAQUIN Counties 4-HOUR CCW RENEWAL and LEGAL UPDATE REFRESHER COURSE

Location:  This Course will be at The Elks Lodge #2577 in Elk Grove (9240 Survey Rd, Elk Grove, CA) 
    NOTE: Range qualification will occur at The Gun Room across the street from the Elks Lodge. 

Online Registration is REQUIRED as seating is limited.

Course Overview:

• Introduction
• Safety Review
• Range - Shooting qualification / live firing:
  • Sacramento County - all course of fire stages are timed fire
  • El Dorado, Yolo, San Joaquin Counties - course of fire is not timed
• Legal Overview - use of deadly force
• Legal Update - California & Federal gun laws

Materials Furnished:

• Targets
• Range fee for qualification

Students Must Bring:

• Eye and Ear Protection
• All firearms that will be listed on the CCW permit for range qualification (currently this is limited to three handguns in Sacramento, San Joaquin, and Yolo Counties)
• All ammunition required for qualification:
  • Sacramento - 50 rounds per handgun
  • El Dorado, Yolo, San Joaquin - 30 rounds per handgun
• Magazines/speed loaders:
  • Sacramento - Three magazines per semi-auto pistol and two speed loaders/strips per revolver - all stages are timed fire
  • El Dorado, Yolo, and San Joaquin - Two magazines per semi-auto pistol and a speedloader per revolver - course of fire is not timed

Other Course Information

Location: The Elks Lodge #2577, 9240 Survey Rd, Elk Grove, CA  (Grantline Road and Hwy-99)

• Minimum Age Requirement:  21 years or older
• No open toed shoes on range
• No guns or ammunition in the classroom - leave locked in vehicle
• Recommend no loose or low cut blouses or shirts while shooting

(Students should arrive at least 5 minutes before the start of the class)

FEE: $114 (covers class, range fee, and qualification for up to three guns - If you are an El Dorado county resident and wish to include more than three guns, please contact us before the class)
